Terms of Service

By accessing or using sckoob.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

sckoob is an anonymous professional community. The platform allows verified professionals to discuss salaries, company culture, and career opportunities anonymously.

Registration is done via Google OAuth. A professional email is required for full access (posting, submitting salaries). Personal emails (gmail, yahoo, etc.) give read-only access (comments, votes, salary viewing).

Your email address is never stored in plain text. A SHA-256 hash with salt is used for identification. Only the domain is kept for company matching.

sckoob guarantees the anonymity of its users. Your real identity is never revealed to other users. An anonymous handle is automatically assigned to you.

Administrators have access to the email domain only for moderation purposes, but never to your full email address.

You are responsible for the content you publish. The following content is prohibited: defamation, harassment, illegal content, spam, confidential company information protected by NDA.

Administrators may remove any content that violates these rules.

Uploaded images (logos, channel and company covers) must comply with the following rules:

• Any pornographic, sexually explicit, or suggestive content is strictly prohibited
• Any violent, shocking, or hate-inciting content is prohibited
• Images must be relevant and appropriate in a professional context
• Using copyrighted images without authorization is prohibited

Any violation of these rules will result in immediate and permanent account ban, without prior warning.

Some channels are associated with a geographic zone (e.g. mg/, fr/). Posts in these regional channels are visible only to users who follow them. This restriction ensures content relevance for each local community.

Users are free to follow or leave any regional channel at any time.

Submitted salary data is anonymous and subject to verification by administrators. sckoob does not guarantee the accuracy of data shared by users.

You may request the deletion of your account at any time. Your posts and comments will be anonymized but remain visible. Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.

sckoob reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes.
